Intense Pulsed Light
IPL can be used for permanant hair reduction. Permanant hair reduction is defined as the long-term reduction in the number of hairs re-growing after a treatment regime, which may include several sessions. 5 - 10 sessions is a good guideline to achieve a substantial amount of reduction in most cases.
Why should you go with our IPL?
Our IPL machine is European - advanced in technology and very safe. It's highly calibrated and has a larger treatment size, resulting in more comfort for you and quicker treatment times. NZ does not currently have guidelines and regulations regarding IPL treatment, however Christine is trained to Australian Medical standards which are very high, so rest assured you are in very safe hands.
Who can have IPL?
IPL is safe for most skin types (except for the darkest of skins which we have an alternative for) it only works on dark hair (we have an alkaline wash which deals with the light hair). As there are a few people that cannot have the treatment we offer FREE Consultations. This is valued at $65. We include a test patch FREE with all succesful candidates who can have the treatment.
Common misconceptions corrected:
You CAN have the treatment in summer (Sunblock!) You CAN be hairfree in between treatments - shaving does not affect the treatment process. Stop wondering and have all your questions answered today!
